They lied to us about the room size, refused to send actual measurements, and we never heard anything more from them.

Our front door coudnt be closed for basically the entire time we were there and nothing was ever done about it

I eventually met my landlady just as I was moving out, who was very happy with how I had left the flat and said she would ask them to return my deposit ASAP. When I didn't get it, I called the agency, who wouldn't take my call. I emailed them and got no response. After a few weeks (they had £600 of mine!), I started a dispute with the deposit protection scheme (which took ages to do, because it's a bureaucratic nightmare). Right on the last day (30 days afterwards, and about 3 months after I moved out) they finally returned my deposit. I think I called them upwards of 20 times and emailed them about 15. Such a waste of time. How they call themselves professionals, I have no idea.

Utterly disgraceful.
Very poor at working with the landlord to resolve long-term issues with damp in the flat. Painting over damp was deemed sufficient! Terrible when there was a roof leak that damaged the interior walls and increased damp problem in two rooms, including the kitchen, leaving unresolved for 3 months rather than responding instantly to emergency repair request - no doubt cost landlord more to repair as a result. Phone calls and emails were bounced around with little effect. Then had the gall to increase our rent! Woeful communication from and between clearly disjointed departments when working on getting our deposit back at the end of the tenancy. My worst experience of renting by far.
