I try not to read online reviews as I like to form my own opinion but by god I wish I had read the reviews before getting involved with this cowboy outfit. The system should allow negative stars because zero is too good for this company. They will tell you and promise you everything to get you to sign for their sub standard properties but once they have you hooked they will leave you high and dry and not respond to communications. It's a miracle how they have obtained a licence to run HMO properties as they are the biggest set of crooks I have had the diss pleasure of dealing with.
There is a reason that they are not on the university's list of approved landlords, you would be much more comfortable in hall's or even living in a cardboard box than one of their properties. If you have the audacity to end your tenancy then that's when they really get started and try do do a number on you. They will abuse the Mydeposit scheme and try to use it to their advantage to withhold some of your deposit to repair or redecorate parts of the property that were damaged before you moved in. If they do this to you make sure you have lots of photographic evidence and fight them every step of the way through the dispute process as they rely on naive students to just accept their findings and not fight for what is theirs.
It is time that students took a stand and fight this company all they way and hope that they are no longer allowed to treat people like this and maybe even lose their licence or face criminal charges for their fraudulent activity.
