The landlord was a very old, bitter woman who worked at the estate agents, I was warned by the neighbourhood that she is not a nice person at all. The few times I contacted her she was brief, blunt and just a cold, rude person to interact with. She tried taking my deposit from me, which I was not having as it was immaculate when I left. Luckily the tenancy deposit adjudicator saw the moving in inventory and could see how filthy it was and how the landlord just wanted to take as much money as possible from me. She lost big time and I got my deposit back minus £50 which I was very happy with.
