She was OK during most of the tenancy ie did not bother me and would adequately respond to queries. There are some mice in the flat but thats all of London really
She was a nightmare during moveout. Wanted me to move out at a time that worked for her. I refused and she threatened with the deposit, which was completely inapppropriate. That got me on high alert. Tried ripping me off my money but obviously she was dealing with the wrong person. I got my full deposit back. I took care of her place so well so that was only fair.
If you end up renting from her just stay calm and not be intimidated. Be educated on the law and to be aware of your rights and entitlement. Definitely do not pay for wear and tear - just go through dispute resolution with the deposit scheme. I find them to be quite fair and objective. Communicate in writing all the time and get your deposit back asap!
