Whenever we had a problem that had to be dealt with by the landlord, they dealt with issues promptly. The Vacuum broke and it was replaced with a better one quickly. The washing machine and other appliances were insured. The washing machine broke down while I was there and it was replaced with a new one in around one week. However, the landlord may be complicit in the letting agency's practices with deposits.
