This property was run by a very large scam landlord calling itself an "agency", with a large number of properties and staff.
They did not use a consistent organisational name or business number. Their staff used personal WhatsApp accounts to communicate with tenants.
The organisation regularly stole deposits, threatened legal action, locked people out of their rooms, forcefully evicted tenants, illegally subdivided properties and ignored repeat requests for maintenance but were aggressive in chasing up rent.
Staff were frequently exploited, paid below minimum wage, and experienced threatening situations including incidents involving the police - so staff frequently left and were replaced.
There were rumours of large scale tax fraud committed by the organisation. The leadership of the organisation were often described as organised criminals.
They often used the organisational name "The London Rooms".
At one point the agency used a PayPal account registered under merchant name:
