Landlord wasn't interested in fixing the heating until I stopped paying rent. Then threatened me with the police. Reminded her she was committing a crime by not having a gas safety certificate, and she finally fixed it.
Took some of the deposit when I left, after having made improvements around the house. Claimed I'd stained the carpet in the living room, but this was rising damp that I'd already reported about. Nothing was done.
A year later my deposit was returned after appealing it.
