I lived at 46 Nelson street for 2 years and i constantly reported maintenance issues to salik and he didnt do any repairs. I had no hot water from the shower for 18 months which severaly effected my health and he charged me full rent still. When i tried to hand in my notice in lockdown because of the hot water he threatened me that he will charge me more. Shower water constantly going cold. Washinf machine constantly leaking. Back garden complete mess and over grown grass. Which brought in bugs and rats. Back garden gate has been broken for 2 years where its easily assessable by anyone. Shed door fell on me when i moved in i told him about this and he never fixed it. Front door had a hole in it throughout the whole of winter. He dug up a massive hole in the garden and it was left like that for months throughout winter with open pipes and strong gas odours coming from it, I slipped and fell in the hole and I told the landlord he didn't care. We had to put a plank from the pavement to the door so we can walk over the hole. Mould in all the rooms and downstairs. I had mould in my room and he never got rid of it after I complained to him. I had to do it myself.
