We lived at 33 Long Wood Road for several years. The property was adequate for our needs, but in our experience it was not maintained or upgraded to the standard we would expect considering the level of rent. We often had to chase the landlord regarding smaller repairs and maintenance issues, and on some occasions we ended up dealing with minor repairs ourselves. The rent increased regularly, while we felt the maintenance and overall condition of the property did not improve accordingly. Our experience became more difficult towards the end of the tenancy, particularly with communication and resolving outstanding matters. I would recommend future tenants keep detailed records, photographs and videos of the property's condition and keep repair requests in writing.
