The house is a huge light and airy 5 bedroom Victorian Terrace (the bedrooms are massive) it also has a large separate kitchen, dining room and lounge, a separate well ventilated lean-to for laundry drying and a good sized garden with flowers and fruit bushes. There was also plenty of space for our collection of bikes.
The house is really solid and although there was some vertical sound transference as you might expect in a property of this age, the horizontal soundproofing between rooms was very good.
The house was well maintained with all the relevant safety checks carried out in good time. The house was awarded a ‘Safe, Snug and Secure’ certificate during my tenancy. Unusually for its age and type there was no mould or damp in the property and it always felt warm.
The house was well equipped with cupboard and fridge space suitable to the number of occupants, and repairs or replacements were always carried out quickly and effectively. Very good value for money and it made an excellent home for many years.
