The property was in good condition and most rooms (besides the attic rooms) were decently sized. However, the state of the property when we arrived was terrible and some furniture was broken and unusable. Most of the furniture wasn’t replaced either. There’s also a decent sized back garden area. It’s not very soundproof and because it’s an old property it’s rubbish at insulating heat as well.

I love this house, but when we moved in almost everything that could have been wrong with the property was wrong. A toilet and sink were blocked, poor window sealing created a leak in one of the bedrooms, we didn't have a toaster or microwave, many of the lights weren't working, one of the toilet seats was detached on one side, the Tivo box was not set up (we had to organise Virgin to come and set it up ourselves), the house was generally unclean, we didn't have a CO detector or fire blanket and a lot of our furniture was broken. HOWEVER every single one of these issues has been resolved and the house is in a much better state now. It just would have been ideal to not have had to raise all of these issues (and more) and to have not had the disturbance of the building works (bathroom retiling, new flooring) and for the house to have been up to standard when we moved in.
