Basement flat did not have a lounge, but rent was cheap as a result. Easy to keep warm in the winter. Weirdly furnished, lots of random bits of furniture which didn't really fit but we weren't allowed to remove. Initially had a problem with slugs which was later resolved. Repairs were often done in a cheap/botched manner. Problem with damp largely caused by the tumble dryer not being vented to the outside. Nice shared garden, although gardeners came during the summer and chopped down all the flowers and plants growing in the borders. Offstreet parking available.
