Letting Agent rating

2 weeks rent required upfront with no flexibility. Deposit required of similar amount of money, which of course is difficult to get back at the end of your tenancy. No flexibility in extending contracts. Machine like staff with no empathy.

shared bathroom and kitchen. Mould in 2 of 3 rooms stayed in over a 3 year period, and silverfish in the bathroom of all 3.
Shared kitchen reasonable, however no washing machine as usual for student accommodation, roughly £3.50 for use of both washing machine and dryer each time used. Constant fire alarms going off inside the bedroom itself (the alarm itself is right on top of your bed so you can't avoid false alarms and this will damage your hearing)

Area rating

Right next to large tesco, stay on university side of salford precinct and you should be fine. next to large police station and near salford royal hospital so many sirens at night. Had some trouble with local people but minimal in 3 years I lived there. Usually drunk/homeless people trying to ask you for money or travelers (very rare though.)
