brand vaughn Brighton was the agency. We complained to them about the maintained issues and they did not help with the situation. They did not chase the landlord to make these important maintained repairs nor did they come and check to see if they had been filled. We complained about the mice infestation we were seeing 10+ mice a day and nothing was done to get rid of them by the landlord. The property was unmaintanced and they did not care, the carpets were in such bad condition they were dangerous, the house was just awful. The agency should not be advertising a property in this condition because it was uninhabitable and the price they was charging for rent was completely unreasonable. They do not care about students living conditions and will only respond to you chasing rent payments

I have been with this agency for about 3 years, and as far as there are no problem with the property and you pay your rent, they only contact you for renewals and not much else. I reported a leak 2 years ago, after all this time they haven't done anything, not even pretending. Now is time to renew the contract and they want to increase the rent £100 but without fixing the leaks (now there is more than one). Contacted them, few of the members, and even one of the managers and the just pas the ball to each other, no one is taking responsibility and the ceiling will fall one of this heavy rain days. Be careful with this agency....

Brand Vaughan. They basically just managed our rent payments. We didnt agree with charges they sent at the end and had to dispute them which they then agreed to.

Mostly fair, but they were pretty difficult when it came to the end of tenancy. They wouldn't allow anytime between the end of tenancy check-out and the keys being handed back, so if there was anything wrong I had no time to fix it. Thankfully I got my full deposit back as I kept the flat in good nick. Repairs weren't done in good time, but that was mainly the owner's fault as he always tried to do it himself and never let the agency have a crack at it themselves.
