Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in Tweeddale East, Innerleithen

While the surrounding area is generally safe, the on-street parking is highly competitive and presents a significant risk to residents' vehicles. My own car was struck so severely while parked outside that it required a full month of repairs and cost me £300 in out-of-pocket bills. Although the landlady later admitted that she actually witnessed the damage on her way to work, she chose not to alert me at the time, nor did she make any effort to get further involved or assist with information. This complete lack of neighborly support or basic courtesy further emphasized the challenging nature of managing a tenancy while living directly above her.
