A short walk to the university campus and a little longer to town. 30 seconds to the nearest convenience store.
Downstairs neighbour, Margaret, was very nice. The majority of local residents are students like ourselves. We rarely had any issues with noise, but there was a lot of rubbish left on the street at the end of term. The university does have steps in place to reduce this however.

Great neighbourhood, there is a really nice pub just across the road and it takes less than 10 minutes to get to uni. The number 8 bus stop is really close so you can get to temple meads easily and there is a small corner shop 4 mins away. The only small issue is parking on the crescent can be difficult.

Our house was one of 15 houses that got robbed in the area around the same time, the police reckon that it was the same guy/group of people doing it.

Shops were not close by, but natural surroundings were very pretty. Hardly any artificial light in the village.

It's Brighton so buses are everywhere but the links to London Road shops are invaluable to students especially with Aldi being there.

Between Peckham, Camberwell and elephant and castle. Not the best transport links but a quick bus to E&C. Loads of really good shops and restaurants nearby and just below Burgess park.

The area is nice and safe, close to shops and to Victoria Park. However, the property is very close to the train rails and a busy road and it is difficult to sleep at night because of the noises.

Co-op at the top of the street, 10min walk from QUB, 20min walk from city centre, fairly quiet area most of the time.

Constant parking issues, plus neighbours stealing parking cones and then denying it!
