Tenancy review for Hudson Haven Upton Close in Stairfoot, Barnsley rented from Berneslai Homes Barnsley

The landlord Berneslai Homes has employees called Housing Officers who are supposed to resolve problems for tenants. However the Housing Officers that I have encountered have never resolved the noise problem for myself and have tried to make me vacate the property without a Court Order. I am currently in yet another 'fight' because another tenant has allowed a person to enter the building to steal my property and all the Berneslai Homes employees want to do is to deny liability for the theft of my property.
Since I have been a tenant of Berneslai Homes I have had the building misrepresented to me by the Housing Officers. I have been harassment and in my opinion bullied by the Housing Officers because I keep complaining about the noise problem of the building.

The same two Housing Officers have allowed another tenant commit anti social behaviour against myself for two and a half years before another Housing Officer took over the management of the building and the anti social behaviour of the other tenant was stopped

I currently live in a self contained bedsit which includes my own bathroom and toilet. I have lived here for five years in Barnsley.teh bedsit is in a building which used to be a Sheltered Housing for retired and disables. The landlord Berneslai Homes a social housing landlord could not let the properties so reduced the age of people who could live in the property to under 65. The building is now a community building as it still has a community lounge which is used by the tenants living in the building and by tenants and people who live in the area. The building has no noise insulation inside the building to stop the transfer of property from one property to another property and this is the cause of the problem.

The public transport links are good as there is a bus outside the property every half hour in both direction. there is a railway station a 10 minute walk away and the building is near main road leading into Barnsley
