Deposits were not protected until we noticed and requested them to be protected. Constant harrassment and entering of communal areas. Landlords have entered private rooms without warning or permission. Landlord attempts to do all electric and building works themselves but frequently leaves jobs half done. Log cabin (illegal dwelling) currently has a ditch around it as landlord attempts to block rat access. Rude and does not consider tenants rights to quiet enjoyment. At the beginning we had civil conversations but these did not work and landlord continued to disrupt and harass tenants. Threatened to increase rent repeatedly. Made inappropriate sexual comments about female tenants. Shut off water and sewage with one hour warning for two days to do sewage works that were not essential. Landlord repeatedly says it is his retirement project, which is poor as it is the tenants home not a building site.

Main HMO had relatively good rooms, 5, all doubles and three with en suites. Furnishings and conditions of rooms ok, one ensuite did not have a door and newly installed extractor fans had a constant and loud hum. Kitchen and living room facilities old and have not been replaced in at least a decade. A lot of wear and tear, old broken couches and an agar that does not work. Advertised as modern kitchen, anything but in reality. Garden nice in parts but landlords also have a building on site they sometimes live in and are hoarders. There is a lot of rubbish around. A log cabin and annex were also rented out but the council has informed us and the landlords that these are I'm fact illegal dwellings as do not have self contained cooking facilities.

Area is wonderful with access to local shops, countryside on the doorstep, and great travel links. Do need own car though. Neighbors are lovely, they also find the landlords very difficult but are lovely to tenants.
