Tenancy review for 14 Brook Road in Reddish South, Stockport rented from David Boyd rented via Peter Anthony

The landlords, I discovered, were directors of the agency. They totally refused any direct communications despite numerous attempts (all documented). I'm a writer and occasional film maker and produced a short documentary on my experience. One of the landlords, David Boyd, submitted a Legal Form to Google containing false information in an attempt to have the documentary removed. He failed and a second documentary exposing their diabolical falsehoods can now also be viewed on Youtube.

The directors of the agency - Peter Anthony Letting Agents (formally PAD4U) were also my landlords. Local Authorities managed to get them to carry out certain jobs. They would never directly address any issues raised. They raised my rent by 25% claiming it was to bring it up to market value. One year later to the day they increased it again by 11.5%. I was served a Section 21 before I could pursue the damp issues. (They claimed that it was served as "they didn't want a tenant who might have difficulties paying the rent". Nice people. (All documentation available for public examination).

One room. Riddled with damp and mould. Slept in the hallway for the last five months of the tenancy. Agency/landlord claimed it was partly due to 'breathing at night'

The area is great. Friendly neighbours. Great transport links bus/trains. Can't fault it.
