Tenancy review for 6 Brooklands Road in Reddish, Stockport rented from Gillian Canden rented via Anglo Homes

The letting agents were also the landlords so I was hoping this would help avoid any time wasted communicating between the two which i've experienced in previous rentals. Unfortunatley they were very slow to respond to anything, leaving us with a leaking ceiling for weeks and without heating in the winter - meaning we had to purchase an oil filled electric radiator while we waited for the boiler to be fixed.

When we called up the agent/landlord we would be met with an accusational tone and were made to feel bed. Horrible horrible lady.

The property was in great condition when we moved in as it was newly refurbished, although after a few months things began to go wrong. There was never any mould and the only thing that let the property down was the yarden which was a concrete slab.

It was very expensive for the area but we'd been looking for a while so decided to pay more for a newly refurbished property.

Our neighbours were great and a highlight of the rental. Its just a shame the awful service by the letting agent/landlord ruined our experience.

The neighbourhood was a bit rough but it was close to a train station for work commuting.
