Landlord has cover for some things and tries to use this to make repairs that ultimately don’t fix the issue

When I first reported the leak I was told it might get better when the roof is fixed and they know there is damp in the property and there is a dehumidifier in the garage I can use. The leaking pipe was on an internal downstairs wall. Took 6 months to first attempt to fix it and 7 months to first attempt to fix the heating. Chooses cheap was to try and get round fixing eg a chemical power flush instead of a proper one despite being told the entire system was full of sludge

Still have heating and leak issue almost a year later with no likelihood of it being fixed any time soon

Awful company, have had a leak and heating issue since I have moved in which remains unfixed. They moved me in after they had seen fleas as they didn’t report it to anyone, only found out as I was getting bitten and then read it once I received the inventory a few days later.

They delay and deny constantly leaving my 3 year old and I with no effective heating and a property full of damp. The agents are inhumane, making you feel like you are the problem for complaining. They lie constantly and you have to repeatedly report the same issues. They get opinions from contractors and chose the one that suits them without fully investigating issues. I had a power flush done in Jan and I have been desperately trying to get them to look at it again, two British Gas engineers said it failed when attending on the other issue and yet they only took the view of the people who did it and categorically told me it was fine. Now the boiler has broken as it is so full of sludge.

I complained to head office and they said they weren’t aware of issues I had reported repeatedly and even had their replies! Then went on to say whilst they accepted there were delays there’s no evidence this would have made things worse… leaving a leak and not fixing it won’t make it worse?!? They will not accept any fault. These people should be ashamed of themselves

3 bedroom detached house with garage. Leak downstairs affecting the lounge kitchen and hallway (basically the whole floor) mould in kitchen and bathroom mainly due to no heating making ventilation more challenging
