Am 53 rented all my life and this landlord is the worst I have EVER experienced. He has not allowed the agent to act on his behalf to enable repairs, weeks go by before he even replies to the agent who the contacts me. He has shown a total disregard for me as his tenant.

Easy to contact but appalling at carrying anything through, still waiting 6months for resolution. The agency have quite definitely not been there to help me!

No hot water pressure, the water only trickles, so boil the kettle. Mould smell in bathroom 3 months and not attended to even on repeated requests. Oven hobs rusted had to buy hotplates. The oven took 1 and half hours to cook a 30 minute piece of fish, asked for it to be looked at to no effect so have not used an oven for 6 month. No kitchen light due to leak from above, had to delay moving in but still pay rent, took landlord 10days to fix. 6ft sofa in lounge for 6 weeks, so lounge was unusable for me, am disabled and had to climb over furniture, repeated requests for removal ignored. Neither landlord nor agent knew my electric metre so for 2 months I was charged double the amount necessary, it was I who after 8 telephone calls to utility companies resolved the problem. Requested tenancy renewal on repairs being addressed, landlord however advised rent rise and no repairs and then delivered me a section 21 removal, impending homelessness in 6 weeks.

Brilliant love it, lived in this area for 14 years. Easy access for me to major routes, parks and shops.
