If it was possible to give the landlord 0 stars then we would. Ignored repeated requests to fix faults; refused to return overpaid rent for over 3 months to the point we reported him to the police; continually tried to negotiate compensation for ‘damage’ we supposedly caused and take this from the deposit causing us so much stress we eventually agreed on a sum anyway.

We have been left so angry by the way he has treated us we are now seeking a small claims against him

En suite bathroom prone to mould. Landlord refused to address for 9 months and then blamed it on us despite ventilating as much as possible. Two boiler leaks fixed poorly leading to unusable bedroom for a month and mould on the carpet.

Outdoor fencing damaged and landlord failed to repair for over 9 months. Slippery decking which needed replacing again not addressed for months by landlord
