Had a virtual viewing for 39 Shakespeare Street in Lincoln, which to be honest, should of been a red flag but my partner and I had been section 21’ed (no fault of our own) and we needed some where as soon as possible.

We stayed in the property for only 6 months and it was a living nightmare.

The drains were in a state of major disrepair, the company that kept having to come out every 2 weeks had told us they had been visiting the property for years… Doing the same repairs over and over again.

A neighbour warned us not to live there, due to all of the issues this properly had and told us with face to face viewings, they would warn anyone visiting.

There is no way Bairstow Eve’s isn’t aware of this issue, there is no way on earth they cannot know 39 Shakespeare street should NOT be rented to anyone.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE… If you value your sanity and mental health. DO NOT rent.

The landlords haven’t fixed the drains in YEARS. They have known about this issue for YEARS.

The house was even used as a drug farm, there’s TONS of bugs that show up in that house daily!

Look up “Lincoln drug farmer jailed”!! Someone in the neighbourhood even confirmed!

The street is run down and forgotten.

When my partner and I moved out, there was a couple arguing while walking down the street, talking about k!lling each other.

AVOID.
