The landlord sent 8 individual plumbers to my house to get repair quotes for a boiler that had been condemned. They refused to talk to us or supplybasic things like a thermostat or an entire bedroom floor that had been removed. The final insult was being charged for the shoddy repairs the landlord had done.

The letting agent tried to help but wouldn't take any action against the landlord. They were fine with all standard procedures.

4 bedroom house. The smallest room couldn't fit a bed in it and the next smallest room couldn't be used because the floor boards had been lifted up. The utility room was damp because of leaking pipes. The boiler had been condemned. We moved out after the bathroom leaked and a structural surveyor said the joists need replacing which the landlord refused to do
