Tenancy review for 120 Wigan Road in Derby, Ormskirk rented from Lawerance Brookfield

Needed a new radiator and only agreed to fit one after a year of asking for one. I have only seen him once and that was when I signed my contract and I have lived here over 1.5 years now and was telling him I was having to sleep in multiple layers and hoodies to keep warm. We have asked for basic things like a new hoover as outs didn't work anymore and he refused as he said it should still work. Tried to arrange viewings during a pandemic without our permission. Gave out our contact details without our permission. Generally unhelpful unless it was unavoidable (like rat problems).

It is a nice property. 6 Bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and shower and one with a shower. One room had heating issues but an additional radiator was fitted which has sorted it. Has a garden and space for two cars on the driveway.

Area rating: 8

The area is nice, about a 10 minute walk to Edge Hill University and about the same distance to the local town. Right next door to a laundrette and local shop and butchers and about a 3 minute walk from a local co op.
