Landlord review for Neil Macfarlane, Ormskirk

Refused communication with more than one person and was told to contact him through his selected occupant. As stated previously there is a hole in the ceiling of the kitchen, when he came to see it he simply said "I'll sort that when you leave", clearly isn't bothered by it.
We had mould in two of the upstairs bedrooms which led to our personal posessions being covered in mould, his response was a sarcastic "Well, would you like me to pay for someone to clean it for you?" He then 'treated' the areas of mould... by painting over the top of it.
The best part is that he left us alone and didn't bother us at any point except for when we had a little work done on the bathroom (new bath (which leaks into the kitchen)) and when viewings were taking place.
Ex-Husband of Ormskirk Student Lettings, need I say more?

Property review for 93 Wigan Rd, Ormskirk, Ormskirk

Spacious rooms however very outdated and thin walls, mould in many of the rooms, the kitchen roof bows down and there is a hole in the ceiling.
The 4 older rooms get VERY cold during winter due to no insulation (old houses can not be insulated (APPARENTLY)).
Living area and kitchen is nicely spaced, however there is a hole where the chimney once was which lets a lot of the heat out. Boiler is faulty at times also.
The house has a lot of potential but simply isn't used, rooms, communal areas etc, could be improved A LOT.
Just to add, when we first occuped the property only 5 front door keys were supplied... it is a 6 bed house, we had to get one cut ourselves.
The back garden is very open to anyone walking past and the neighbours seeing as there are no gates/fences either side.
There are cracks all around the house (not a major issue mind), but the back door also has cracks in which lets out heat and will occasionally open when very strong winds are present, so keeping it locked is a must.

Area rating: 5
The area of the house is probably the best part, and even that isn't great. Placed adjacent to the hospital means a lot of traffic (including school children) pass the house. 10 minute walk to both the town and university (via cutting through the hospital).
