Problems were attempted to be fixed, however sometimes the agency would allow workmen to enter the house without letting us know. I once woke up one morning to find out that the hot water had been turned off without being told beforehand. According to Super Uni, once you have let them know that there is an issue, you should expect work-people to turn up at the house unannounced at any time. We had to get our guarantors involved on multiple occasions for some issues to be fixed; I had mould in my room before I moved in but it was considered to be my responsibility to remove. The house itself would have been lovely to live in, if it did not require so much upkeep from being mishandled by the agency!

6 bed house, 2 toilets, one bathroom and one toilet with shower. Communal living room and kitchen. Patio garden and driveway came with the house. Mould appeared in most rooms, due to lack of windows and ventilation opportunities. Slugs were found in kitchen, living room and hallway. Mould was underneath the floorboards in the kitchen which was supposed to be replaced but never was.

On the other side of town to the University, however there is a Park and Ride down the road which can be used to navigate the hill. The walk is not very long, roughly 20 minutes at a fast pace.

The house is close to town, which is roughly a 10 minute walk near the river or Cathedral at an average pace. There are a few places to get food shopping in town (Sainsbury's, Iceland, M&S). If essentials are needed, then there is a 24 hour petrol station a 2 minute walk from the house.

The house is surrounded by other student houses and flats, although there are normal residents nearby too.
