Landlord review for Maureen Young, Norwich

Landlord rating: 9
We met the landlady several times when we moved in, she was nice, and wanted to make sure that we were comfortable, and that she didn't need to take any of her furniture out, if we had too much.
We didn't speak to her much after the first month because the letting agents said we should correspond through them, that's what they're paid for after all.

Letting agent review for Kings and Co, Norwich

Agency rating: 9
They were professional and easy to get hold of. They were considerate when booking flat inspections and gave us a couple of weeks notice.
The fees weren't excessive, and our deposit was returned to us in full about 3 weeks after we handed the keys back.
They let us choose 6 or 12 months contracts after the first year. Then when we were looking to buy our own house they let us move to a 1 month rolling contract when the latest 6 month one was up.

Property review for 5 Glendenning Road, Thorpe Hamlet, Norwich

Property rating: 8
2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 single. The flat was generally warm enough with appropriate use of heating (radiators). There was a nice balcony which gets the sun in the morning. There is a bike shed with a combination lock which is checked once or twice a year for abandoned bikes.
Generally 1 parking space per flat, with on street parking for visitors.
The biggest thing we hated about the flat was the creaky floor. This caused annoyance for the downstairs neighbours who in turn annoyed us by banging, but there was nothing we could do apart from tiptoe, or the landlady would have had to replace the entire floor in the lounge and bedroom, because it was sheet of flooring rather than individual floor boards.

Area review for Thorpe Hamlet, Norwich

Area rating: 9
20 minutes walk to the edge of Norwich City Centre, 15 mins walk to the train station / Morrisons / retail Park / leisure centre / cinema /restaurants. Great location, there's a short footpath up to the main road just outside the flat. This always felt safe.
Delivery drivers sometimes get a bit lost with the flat numbering system because there are 3 roads and Glendenning is at the end of the long cul-de-sac.
