Nice enough but absent and hard to get hold of. When we need their permission to replace something through the agency, expect to wait a week or more. They'll agree to it, but dont seem like they're a landlord as its so fully operated by DPS. Works for us so long as we aren't waiting on the landlord to agree to something the agents need.

DPS have done everything they can for us. When things break or need replacing, they have had contractors out asap. Really friendly people who made sure we understood our contract fully and our rights before signing. Would be very happy to rent exclusively through this agency in future.

A small flat which I share with my partner (whole rent is £650 a month, so £325 each). Kitchen the size of a wheelie bin and prone to mould if you dont clean and spray mould killer regularly. Absolutely adorable inside and easy to make your own. Secretly tucked into the scenery at Elm Hill, this is an amazing little community. No parking and no car parking permits, but there is a car park nearby for visitors and a small park on the riverside. A five minute walk from anywhere you want to be. I'll miss it when I eventually move out.

Area rating: 10

cute, quiet. Feel free to befriend neighbours (or not). Rooms are quite sound proof, but some people are clearly only just beginning to learn guitar or are excellent at piano. If there's nothing switched on in the flat, chances are you'll hear a neighbour - but it will be quite dimmed. It's a no dog zone which just means walk fast with your friend's dog so no one tells you off ;)
