The landlady is generally nice and understands that everything is about negotiation and trying to live in harmony. If the rating for just for her, I
would have given her an above-average rating.
The landlord appears to be always drunk and has very little emotional intelligence. There are almost daily jumps in his mood from calm to shouting and angry, which leave the place feeling uncomfortable. Occasionally the shouting is directed at a lodger.

The house feels a bit of a mix between a family home and a hostel. With 12-14 people living there, and frequent turnover, the place isn't settled. Rooms vary in how nice, quiet and spacious they are, and generally seem a little overpriced.
The house is not a comfortable place to bring friends back to. Overnight guests will cost you £5/night, and the landlord doesn't like people over very often, nor very late. There are video cameras around the house, which he uses to keep tabs on everyone.

St Werburgh's is a nice neighbourhood, with plenty of green spaces and friendly smiling people. If you move here, remember to smile to people too!
The house location itself is a bit of a pain because you have to go up+down a steep hill to get to it. That gets tiring quickly.
