I had many problems with the landlady and though she took care of some of my complaints, when it was time to leave she was charging me money for a lot of them which was very unfair. The house is very cold during winter, even still all of April and some days in May I was sleeping with sweater, pants and double socks. Communication with her was very difficult, she mainly writes to her tenants through facebook even though you live in the same house with her!! In many of the disputes that we had I felt like everything written in the contract and all her replies to complaints were to take advantage of me. So if you are renting a room there, TAKE A CLOSE LOOK IN THE CONTRACT! And ask for a leaving clause, to allow you to leave the house before the contract ends.

The house has three rooms, one where the landlady lives and two other rooms that she rents out. The room I was staying in was the biggest of the two and the space was quite comfortable, however the smaller room for rent is very small and you can have very little space. Both of the rooms to rent tend to have mould during the cold months of the year. I rented from January to June and there was a lot of condensation in the windows and the landlady does not like to have the heating up more than two to three hours per day or if she considers that the temperature does not justify having the heating on. She has three dogs that live in the kitchen all the time, which makes the kitchen smell really bad and one of the dogs would poop in the kitchen floor sometimes, which made the smell even worse. In general, also the state of cleanness of the house was not good and that was a big issue during my stay there.

The neighbourhood was ok, sometimes you could hear the TV and the neighbours talking or yelling but it was ok. The previous tenant before me had her car mirrors broken and license plates stolen, but maybe that was just bad luck. There is no parking space if you have a car.
